I started doing MUNs since I was in standard 8th. I am basically from Ranchi, Jharkhand and during my school days there was not much awareness and opportunities available for MUNs but then also I never missed a chance to participate in such competitions. I have a keen interest in public speaking and politics and therefore this is the reason I am so much interested in muning. Indian committees have also been my first preference may it be as a delegate or part of the board. I don't remember the actual number of MUNs I have participated in or chaired because I believe that what matters more is the quality and experience you gain than the number game. Currently I am pursuing law from Christ university, Banglore. Being a law student one has to be more engaged in mock trials and moot courts but for me MUNs are as important as the others because it is a learning process which always enriches me with something new every time.
